Food & Friends is the Meals on Wheels and Senior Nutrition Program for Jackson and Josephine Counties. With the help of over 300 caring volunteers, we serve over 230,000 meals annually to over 4,000 seniors in the Jackson and Josephine counties. Food & Friends operates fifteen meal sites where meals are packaged, sealed and delivered by volunteer drivers to seniors, who are unable to shop and/or prepare meals for themselves. A vital aspect of our program is to ensure participants are receiving safety checks and social connectivity through daily visits by caring volunteers along with nutritious meals. Thirteen of these sites also serve as places for seniors to gather for social time and share a meal together. For more information or to volunteer call 541-664-6674.
