How long have you been in business?
PEOPLE EXPERIENCING
A JOURNEY OF
GRACE, FREEDOM,
AND POWER
IN JESUS
SINCE JULY 5, 1997.
What is your primary product or service?
Set Free is called to share the good news that God loves us unconditionally, good or bad. He loves us, and has a purpose and a plan to make our lives complete. When we understand this we can be truly set free!
Over the years through many moves and congregational changes Set Free has been learning how to lead people to "freedom" in Christ. That freedom includes being "Set Free" from legalism, from addiction, from guilt, shame, pain, hopelessness, discouragement.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Set Free Christian Fellowship was founded on a dream. In that dream Pastor Chad McComas was shown a group of lost and hurting people, confused and abandoned by life. God motioned toward the group and said, “I want you to set them free.” The pastor responded in tears and confusion, “I don’t know how.” God said, “I’ll show you.” Since 1997 Set Free has tried, with God’s help to follow that command and lead people to freedom. The section of scripture that clearly outlines the purpose of Set Free is Isaiah 61.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We believe that no one comes to Set Free by accident. Each person who comes is brought by God for a purpose. Either that person is brought so that we can help them come into a better relationship with God, or that person is brought to help us achieve our mission. As God reveals Himself and His will to each individual, the church is strengthened and our mission is accomplished. God has brought us a variety of people from all backgrounds to fulfill his mission for this body of believers.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Set Free Christian Fellowship has a dream of owning our own building. It will be a gathering place for conferences, concerts, worship events, weddings, movies, guest speakers, seminars, workshops, classes and much more. The doors will be open throughout the week to serve people of the community. We will be better equipped to help with everything from emergency food, prayer, counseling, encouragement , supportive Christian Fellowship and much more.
It will take the effort and support of many to make this dream become a reality. Our goal is to raise $1,000,000 to purchase and renovate a building we can grow in. In order to fund this dream we are selling brick pavers. The pavers are 8x8 or 8x4 inch bricks with engraved plaques. Purchase one today to honor your family, a loved one or display a favorite bible verse.
